Yes, it is true. Lisa has fallen in the snow and broken her leg in two places. She was taken to the local hospital here in Seward, but since the break cannot be fixed by a cast alone, she was supposed to go to Anchorage by ambulance. We have had a snowstorm here, and the ambulance could not make it through Moose Pass (you remember Moose Pass, we were going to move there!). So they have had to airlift Lisa out of Seward. They wouldn't let me go in either the ambulance or the helicopter, and our vehicle will not make it through the pass. So she is up in an Anchorage hospital by herself. They will bring her back to Seward when the surgery is over.
There is an upside to this situation however. This will expedite her disability case, and she is now getting all the tests she needs in order for that to happen.
She really misses all of you now!

OMG Lisa! We are glad you are ok!! David read this and was worried about you. Told him I would email you to check on you. Glad you guys found a home and we are glad Lisa is getting some rest! David wants you to call him whenever you can (303) 909-3120. We live in Port Saint Lucie, Fl. now and doing well. We were hoping to see the kids for Thanksgiving but apparently it's not gonna happen.
