Only 1200 Miles More To Go

We almost stopped in Dawson Creek for the night as they were having an outdoor concert, but the sky looked like rain, so we decided to just take pics and go on to the next town. The road here to Ft Nelson, BC was mostly smooth..there were a few rough spots but for the most part roads were smooth. Lisa almost hit 2 different sets of deer, and we managed to see 2 moose and 1 bear on this route. No mosquitoes tho!! Weather is a wonderful 70 degrees, and we were able to turn off the air-conditioning. Gas is running $1.40 to $1.49 a liter (and there are 5 liters in a gallon)

A trucker asked us how many tires on the little scottie we had had to change, and when we told him we had changed none, he was astonished. I guess we must be doing something right, or someone or something upstairs is watching over us.

It's fairly amazing to us that everything is going so well, but we're coping!

3.8litres to an american gallon
4.8 litres in an IMPERIAL gallon

driving at night up there is dangerous....and moose , deer etc will jump right in the middle of your hood...and be in your lap kicking the snot out of you before you can hit the brakes... go slow if you must drive at nite and be real careful as many a seasoned driver up there has had mooseshit all over them..and much damage to vehicle ..one friend even had one leap into the side of the camper.

not worth it...rest when tired and know you will be there in one piece.

I think going too fast for too long on really hot roads.. is the reason many people have blowouts and wreck tires. I have never had that problem but many I talk to ..replace 2 tires every outing.

Remember my telling you about neuro linguistic programming. Dont give voice to thought of having trouble or you will bring it onto yourself.

Why would you not have a simple , safe and wonderful trip..? You have done all the right things...before you left..and your motives are pure for going...what could go wrong.

and DO NOT ANSWER THAT OUT LOUD WITH ANY NEGATIVE STATEMENT. There is absolutely no reason you cant arrive where you want...with a smile on your face and joy in your heart.

and remember...I put a bubble of white light over you...before I left FL... maybe..it is doing its job? ya think??
